I went for a movie wit the boyf today & wore this bubble dress I bought online months back. I like to match my dress to my shoes so I wore this blue flats! The pom poms on the shoe matches the dress too! :D I wore shorts underneath & felt really naked so I wore black tights too.
Anyway, I didn't know it was a bubble dress when I bought it. I know many people dislike bubble dresses/skirts. I am pretty neutral about it. I am going to sell some of my clothes to make way for new clothes tomorrow & I was thinking, should I sell this dress? I really like the prints but I am not very sure on the bubble hem!

Indiesin doesnt describe their stuff very well, i bought a dress from them quite a long time ago and when i got it, i was surprised it was bubbled too. :\
ReplyDeleteThis dress looks very cute on you plus you already have the shoes to match it with! For me it's a preference thing, i stay away from bubble hems cos it keeps riding up and i have to keep adjusting it right.
Dear, the dress has the unusal and wearable print! The bubble hem has actually created a girly silhouette that understands the print! Without that bubble hem, this dress will become a less original smoke dress... I actually think you look super cute in it. However, whether sell or not depends how much you love it... Maybe wear it for several days and see if you truly love it xx
ReplyDeleteWell I think you look really good-I think it works well because of you wearing the black tights-I love it!!
ReplyDeleteaww i like it but i really love those litle pom pom shoes. and sorry to have confused you when i said tsunami i was joking what i ment was that it rained really really hard
ReplyDeleteYour comments always make me blush. :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I think this dress is pretty adorable. As Times of Glory noted, the silhouette is very sweet and feminine. But, of course, the prettiest dress is only pretty if it makes you feel pretty. So give it a few days and see how comfortable you are with it.
I say yay! if the new clothes u r getting is going to be much more 'worth it' than the current. But this is entirely subjective and up to the individual to decide, so it will be hard!!! Nay if you cannot justify giving up this dress- it just means that you still love it and want to wear it to death perhaps a few more times.:)
ReplyDeleteHope this helps!:)
I think the dress looks really lovely on you and you matched it really well with the shoes and tights. Looks like a keeper but if you feel as though it's not worth keeping, then that's truly up to you.
ReplyDeletei really like it, especially the pattern, if you arent sure on the bubble skirt maybe you could cut it off and wear it as a top, then you would a whole new item of clothing which would be easier to wear for different occassions. x
ReplyDeleteThe bubble hem on this dress is a little odd but I think that's what stops it from being ordinary plus, it's quite cute on you!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of bubbled.
ReplyDeleteBut I think this dress looks so cute on you. And the print is also lovely.
I think whether sell or not depends how much you feel confortable in it, because you look lovely in it.
xxxx
I like bubble dresses, and this one in particular looks great on you. =)
ReplyDeleteBtw, ould you like to exchange links?
i love the bubble hem!looks great.you always have the cutest shoes too!xxlove the pompomsxx

ReplyDeleteit's so funny to actually meet a friend in the fashion blog world that actually watch those cute love dramas.. hahahah.. I do love them... heh~
I really like the dress - it's special. I wouldn't sell it!
ReplyDeleteI really like the dress on you, I think it looks really cute, and the print is beautiful
ReplyDeletei heard bubble hem flatter the legs! is it hot where you are? that seems like a lot of layers. you can probably get by w/ just the shorts underneath. Keep it is my vote.
ReplyDeleteI think it really suits you and the pattern is different too! I like Bubble Hems but sometimes they can be annoying. I only own one bubble hemmed skirt and don't plan on buying any more. Though if you're not in love with it then sell it and make room for clothes that you DO love!!
ReplyDeletei love bubble hems too; i think they can be pretty flattering. the dress is very cute on you
ReplyDeletedo shop at victoria jomo a lot?
ReplyDeleteo and i made up for the one i failed...I am so gladdddddddddddddddd.
lol
You look darling, those flats are adorable! I found similar Yves Saint Laurent ones at a thrift shop, I love the little pom poms.
ReplyDeletei like the dress on you. and your shoes are so fun. would you like to link up?
ReplyDeleteI love the dress on you, very cute! But my philosophy with clothes is, if you don't absolutely love it, don't buy it! :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the pattern, and the color is lovely on you. I guess I'm a bit thrown off by the bubbled-hem, but it's really actually really an adorable fit with the blue/black/blue. Keep it bella! xo
ReplyDeleteAw, don't sell it! it's so cute on you. plus i always get rid of things and then regret it later! just see how much you wear it in the next couple months or something. THEN sell it if you don't wear it. but i bet you probably will :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment!
ReplyDeleteI love that dress. Its fabulous on you, don't sell it ;)
I think the dress is beautiful, and the combination is great!
ReplyDeletei agree with wendy-may, that print suits you and if it's only the bubble hem you dislike, cut it off and wear it as a top!
ReplyDeleteand i love the idea of pompoms on shoes, i think i'll try that out...
I think this looks super cute on you actually! Don't sell!
ReplyDeleteYou have so many adorable ballet flats! I really like the dress and I am off the anti-bubble hem party. Bubble hems can be cut out...just a thought.
ReplyDeletelovely outfit. the shoes are amazing and I am in love with your glasses
ReplyDeleteI think you wear this really well, maybe it is worth hanging on to it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading my blog - you gave me a path to your world :) Good luck with your internship, guess it is something related to Finances, yes? he he he
ReplyDeleteDo not sell that dress! It suits you very good and it's really original! Keep it and wear it girl :D
ReplyDeleteDon't sell the dress, the print is totally sweet!
ReplyDeleteyou're so cute, thanks for your comments, always! x
ReplyDeleteyou have the best flats i love them all!
Your so cute, i really like that flowered shirt. And I lovee that outfit a couple of posts down with the pink skirt!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting!
ReplyDeleteThe bubble dress looks great on you, and plus you have the perfect shoes to match it. I'd say definitely keep it. Also, I really like the red polka-dot skirt one post down.
To be honest the bubble dress is adorable! The print is cute and it has something different, so in my opinion you should keep it, but you know the best and how you feel with it! :)
ReplyDeletei also don't think you should sell the dress. i like the print, and if the bubble hem really annoys you, you can always cut it out (as the clothes horse already said). love your shoes.
ReplyDeletei like the dress--its really unique!
ReplyDeletep.s. i'm linking to you if thats ok :)
Nice dress, I think you should keep it. Even if you grow weary of the bubble hem, you can always save the dress and do a little DIY with it!
ReplyDeletePs. want to trade links?
great headband! that color looks beautiful in your dark hair.
ReplyDeleteI generally don't like wearing bubble dresses..make me feel to preppy..but you wear it so well!
ReplyDeleteYou always have the cutest pieces! I love the dress, the pattern is fabulous,. but yea, the hem is a little strange, so I don't know?
ReplyDeletei like that blue color
ReplyDeleteyour outfits are so cutee!
i thinku should keep it
and if u end up disliking it,
just change the hem! its pretty simple.
Hahah~ I wish i know u in real person! you seem to like the stuff that I like! (:
ReplyDeletei love selling my old clothes - it justifies me getting new ones all the time lol!
ReplyDeletebubble dresses makes me look like a pear :) so i stay away from them as much as i can :)
ReplyDeletehere's one advice that works though: if u have clothes that u havent worn for a year, okay, make that 6 months, throw them away on ebay! cos u will NEVER EVER WEAR them really :)
i think bubble hems have character. . so why not spin a few new looks with this dress before deciding.
ReplyDeletei'm always in a dilemma about what to sell. . so in the end i sell nada.
