Bowler Hat

Top - Cotton On, Skirt - Custom-made, Hat - Online, Shoes - Far East Plaza

This is what I wore for Fred Perry's Subculture Exhibition at Ann Siang Hill and the after party at Zouk. It was just a night of great fun catching up with all my old clubbing friends cause I used to be a regular at zouk. And the company with the bloggers are always good :) And I drank, a lot. Need to stop binging. But the official Fred Perry alcohol, " Fred Punch " was seriously way too good.

And this is it, lack of updates coming cause today is a public holiday and I gave myself a reason to " unwind ". Exams start on Thursday so wish me luck :P

UP Shoes - Shoes with passion & purpose

UP is started by popular Indonesian Fashion Blogger, Diana Rikasari. She's a believer that a pair of pretty shoes would always make her day.

Walking in shoes from UP also helps the less priviledged. For every pair of UP shoes you purchase, IDR 5000 is donated for charity. UP shoes are made-to-order, which helps us minimize waste and inventory cost. This will also mean up to 14 days worth of wait for the shoes.

But good shoes are worth the wait, right? It is about 40 SGD per pair so it is really affordable. And I am always on the look for wedges because they are much more comfortable to walk in than heels. If you've seen me in real life, I am pretty vertically challenged so an extra lift is always good!

And right now I will be purchasing the pair with white straps and red wedges :P

Flower Power

Top - Forever 21, Skirt - Blogshop, Shoes - ASOS, Headband - ASOS, Belt - Chinatown

This is what I wore for Parco's Next Next launch of 13 new designers. It is actually a clearer outfit that I've worn for the previous post.

Parco Next NEXT is a fashion design incubator project. It showcases over 20 Singapore's NEXT new generation of Fashion Designers! It has a mix of avant-garde to high street chic labels. Thus, head down to PARCO Marina Bay Level 2 to look at the labels! I will blog about some of the labels that I like soon :P

The above photos are taken at Ashley Isham's Boutique and Parlour at Orchard Central's Launch. Models were in the boutique to showcase live his latest collections. I especially loved this dress. It was actually love at first sight. The soft pleats, the gold straps, the nude, everything goes so well together in this maxi dress!!

I dared not look at the price for this dress cause I am sure it'd be under the category of " Things I can only dream of having ". But a girl can dream, yes? :)

Dorothy Perkins S/S '11 Brunch

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I was invited for Dorothy Perkins S/S '11 Brunch today. There were also tips given by Barbara Koh who is the Deputy Editor for The Singapore Women's Weekly and live makeup demonstrations from the experts at Shiseido.

Dorothy Perkins used to be a brand that I felt that were more suitable for women who are my mother's age. We used to shop together and she would accompany me to Topshop and I'd follow her to Dorothy Perkins. But looking at their latest collection, they have definitely changed their target group.

There were many cute little peter pan dresses in lace, green, ethnic prints ( which I totally adore ) and maxis dresses in colorful stripes! And many dresses with scalloped hems which reminded me of Chloe Spring 2009. However, Dorothy Perkins still remained some of their styles which I am sure their old target group would love too.

There was also a booth where they would take a photo of you and develop for you right away! The first photo is my copy. You can't really see my outfit but I am wearing a tube dress as a skirt :) Will show more details of my outfit in another post.

Polka Dots

Top - Mango, Skirt - Custom-made, Shoes - Converse, Headband - Gift

This is what I wore for the opening of Style4space at Tangs, it will feature international and local brands as well as a venue for fashion shows. You can read about what is coming up in Style4space over here :)

Anyway, the above is one of my favorite spreads in the latest issue of Catalog Magazine.I know my style has became very safe and dull cause of my old clubbing days. I got scolded once for being too bright in a bright pink toga at a club and I almost always wear black for clubbing since.

I am trying to go back to my old style and be more daring and thus, that fashion spread is really an inspiration. I'd def wear the blue jumpsuit, assymetrical orange dress and mmhmm pink dr martens! ;) Do check out the latest issue of Catalog Magazine if you havent!

Orchard Fashion Runway 2011 - New Look

I was invited for Orchard Fashion Runway 2011 last Friday. It is part of this event called Fashion Season at Orchard. Among the brands that presented like Levi's, Dockers, Denizen, Paule Ka, AllDressedUp, my favorite was defintely New Look.

All the looks were so feminine and fun with laces, side plaits, crochet, prints and lots of colors! My favorites were the printed jumpsuits! Despite having so many details, the looks were still very effortless and chic. I would definitely wear most of the outfits! I am now waiting for these clothes to be available at my New Look stores :P

Backstage photos of the event can also be available here.
