Disco





Dress - Dorothy Perkins
Headband - Forever 21
Shoes - Converse
The turquoise sequinned dress I was talking about in the previous post! I knew there will be stares but I didn't know there will be that much stares!! Well, I love sequins too much to bother.

First day of my 7weeks internship at Great Eastern ( insurance company ) tomorrow! This will be my first job after the one I had in Swensens 2 years ago so I am pretty scared! My wardrobe is full of mini skirts that is obviously not office appropriate. Hopefully they wouldn't mind much because my mother said that as long as my outfits are not revealing I'll be alright? It seems weird to want me to revamp my wardrobe just for 7 weeks! wearI have a feeling I will wear a lot of blazer + dress outfits!

The only thing I am looking forward to will be wearing heels, heels & more heels! Maybe after the 7 weeks I will be a pro in them ;) Alright, need to sleep early & prepare for tomorrow! I cannot afford to be late on my first day! Wish me luck!

    Alice is indeed a darling. I love the sequins-topshop are pro at these at the moment and have lots of prettyjackets and waistcoats involving them. Good luck at work, I'm sure your outfits will be cooler than all the other peoples anyway!

    I think I agree with your mother - as long as you don't dress revealing and somewhat appropriate (not too crazy or anything), you'll be okay. The insurance company can't expect you to have a perfect office wardrobe!

    And I love that dress so much! I've learnt to just wear what I love and take the stared and gasps in stride. In fact I wore my platform tie up boots (so 70s!!) today and counted quite a few stares and a gasp.

    Oh good luck for tomorrow!     Wow! Shiny! I love how you've teamed it with chucks. I know how you feel about changing your wardrobe. I'm doing a course in Spain for which you need 'semi coporate' clothing, it's only a month long but I want new outfits! Unfortunately I can't afford them, and they won't fit in my case anyway. Sigh.
