Gianfranco Ferre - I didn't like the huge knitted scarves at first, but they really grew on me! This is Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi first collection for the label. The silhouette of the suits were stunning.
Jean Paul Gaultier - I loved that he used little kids in the show ( so adorable! ) & the bondage straps! The all red suit was the highlight for me.
Jill Sander - No to the hourglass suits but yay to the tie dye coats! The fabric used seems really interesting too.
Yohji Yamamoto - I like the fact that some of the pieces were almost like pajamas! My favourite is def the kilt like skort in the first outfit!

I am so jealous it is hot! Love the kids in Gautier! Love it! Also, McQueen did it for me:)
ReplyDeleteWow. Some of those are snazzy! What's up with the homeless look though? Also, I'm a firm believer that men should never...ever wear polks dots.

ReplyDeleteOoh the boys at Alexander McQueen look so scary! :p
ReplyDeletethank you for the sweet comment! I can't wait to see your outfit posts
ReplyDeleteI enjoy menswear posts! Thanks, Qin. The first collection is faintly vampiric, isn't it? Pale, sunken cheeks, old-school tailoring etc etc. Must be twilight!

that Jean Paul Gaultier red suit is TOO COOL.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh these are so fun! The first set is deliciously creepy and vampire - like. I wonder if Twilight had any influence? ( they are a book series about vampires that are really popular in the US)
ReplyDeletebtw, i never get to see men's fashion so these pics were really interesting.
My prefers are Mcqueen and Jil Sander

Those Alexander McQueen clothes are AMAZING. Men should dress like that all the time.
ReplyDeletei like the red suit from gaultier, but some outfits are really strange which i dont want that my boyfriend wears :)
ReplyDeleteI adore Gianfranco Ferre's menswear collection. The grungy knits are incredibly masculine. Jean Paul Gaultier is elegant, as always.
