Global Warming Is Not Cool

I used to be pretty crazy about slogan t-shirts, partly because of House of Holland. I cannot afford HOH so I bought an alternative from Supre that says " Global Warming Is Not Cool ". & no, my hair didn't magically grow 15inches longer. I got hair extensions last Saturday.

Despite all the pain when I sleep ( 160 beads on my hair!! ), taking 30 minutes longer to bathe because I am so afraid I will pull out the extensions & the worse part, feeling so itchy every 5 minutes & NOT being able to scratch..I really like them! Honestly, for my hair to grow till this length I am enjoying now, I will need at least 2 years!

Just the thought of waiting another 2 more years makes all the pain worthwhile! :D Having long hair means a lot to me because I was teased a lot when I was younger for having really short hair :/ Okay, off to studying!!!!!!

  1. Oh cute! I've never gotten extensions, but I'm quite curious about them (and wigs)! It does take forever to grow out...I remember how long it took to get my hair that long and then I chopped it off. Silly me!

  2. i love long hair.
i cut my own hair as i really dislike the hairdresser for some reason.
i dont mind the dentist but the hairdresser.

    ive never had extensions
when i was in thailand everyone was getting them.
everyone offers them, you walk past like 6 in one street.

  4. Lovely hair for sure!

But maybe you could match the tshirt with another bottom instead of shorts. I can barely see your shorts!

Other than that, love that shirt's color.

  5. love the colour of the t-shirt.

RYC on my blog, I used to be terrified of lipsticks! I started off with bright coloured glosses and worked it from there =)

  6. thank you for the comment! :)
i really like the whole ensemble, i wish i could pull that off. especially the hat. me and hats reallllly do not belong, mostly because the frizz in my hair lifts hats up ahah.

  17. Aw! Poor you, I remember me a girl from ANTM who had extensions and cried every 5 minutes, I didn't believed her, because I never thought extensions would hurt that much.. I guess they do. Good look with 'm and I love slogan shirts too, at Life's A Wardrobe I saw one with MELT HEARTS NOT ICE.
Is it organic cotton? Because I always find it a bit ironic when the shirts says something about the world and the shirt itself is made in a country like China.

  27. House of Holland sparked my interest in slogan tees too! i kept searching around my mall for them but they were always too large or sold out. thats a great shirt, love the double meaning:)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Where is this Supre that you speak of? I've been wanting to get my hands on slogan tees but the ones I come across are either lame (Giordano: World Without Strangers haha sure) or repulsively overpriced (Topshop).

  57. Haha, I become so annoyed with my long hair, that I had to chop it off and donate all 17" of it :) But it's a nice change, you look fabulous.

Those House of Holland shirts are so great! They were hyped up a ton in Teen Vogue, I want one so bad. Yours has a great statement!

  58. Love your extensions!! Just wondering, can you tease your extensions since their braided onto your head? I only wear clip on extensions so I wouldn't know....

    ReplyDelete
  59. Love this tee/tunic! And you look effortless cool in that hat!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Incredible outfit! I was really considering getting extensions too, yours look great :)

    ReplyDelete
  61. Googling House of Holland.

about the extensions well hopefully u'll get used to it. I'm not sure if u have the clips or if you sewed them in or glued them in.

but i know for black girls, they use a braid itch sprays from the beauty supply store when they get braids and it itches.

advice is different depending on what type of weave application u used, ask the lady that sold it to u about maintenance etc =/ and beads?? huh

  62. I love the saying on the shirt and your fedora. You pull them off so well.. I look ridiculous in fedoras.

    Those shoes are adorable also!

  63. I've had extensions, but just cheap ones you have to sew together yourself haha. Tee is amazing!

i've always wanted extensions (more for volume than length - i have super ultra thin hair).
but hearing that they're itchy and a pain to sleep in makes me think twice ;-)

  80. I really like the length of the hair you have in. I'm trying to get mineto be about that length or shorter. Just kinda over my breasts, I guess. But I imagine it'll be harder because I'm constantly processing my hair. But I think you can get your hair that long in shorter time as long as you take care of it. I don't know how fast yours grows but try to get someone else to cut it cause if hair grows half an inch a month, you don't want your hairdresser cutting off an inch!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Ooh, I love the color combination of the blue tee with the purple flowers on your shoes!
