Menswear Fashion Fall/Winter 2009 favourites

Alexander Mcqueen - Watch the video below to see how awesome the show was! Totally Gangs of New York-ish.

















Gianfranco Ferre - I didn't like the huge knitted scarves at first, but they really grew on me! This is Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi first collection for the label. The silhouette of the suits were stunning.











Jean Paul Gaultier - I loved that he used little kids in the show ( so adorable! ) & the bondage straps! The all red suit was the highlight for me.















Jill Sander - No to the hourglass suits but yay to the tie dye coats! The fabric used seems really interesting too.







Yohji Yamamoto - I like the fact that some of the pieces were almost like pajamas! My favourite is def the kilt like skort in the first outfit!

  21. oh my gosh these are so fun! The first set is deliciously creepy and vampire - like. I wonder if Twilight had any influence? ( they are a book series about vampires that are really popular in the US)
    btw, i never get to see men's fashion so these pics were really interesting.

  26. I adore Gianfranco Ferre's menswear collection. The grungy knits are incredibly masculine. Jean Paul Gaultier is elegant, as always.

  41. great to see tyler here. yes mcqueen show was spectacular! the very best! and great clothes. ferre had some pretty good items. i liked the line. sander was sander, but still very inovative. and i always like their clean cuts. and jpg with kids, can u imagine anythings o sweet. he got as at the very first little man . :)
