Karma Chameleon

Totally amazing. I like how he did a presentation instead of a runway show & the way the clothes move is so stunning! The shapes of the clothes are beautiful! The music fits the presentation perfectly.

That outfit is my favourite. I love how it will make me feel like I am batgirl when I wear it! Natasha Vojnoviv was spotted wearing the exact outfit & I love how she paired it wit patterned leggings!

One week down, 6 more weeks to go! I dontknw if I am allowed to say anything on my blog cause it seems like I might get sued. Anyway, karma really does exist! All the times when I just hang up on people when they call me to about credit cards etc & how I just ignored people who approached me to do surveys. They are all coming back to me.

Telemarketing is really hard for me because I find it very difficult to just talk to strangers on the phone. I get so demoralised when they just reject me when I didn't say anything yet! However I feel that this is a good opportunity to improve my public speaking & be more confident in myself! :) I enjoy doing field work more where we get to approach people instead of just facing the telephone all day!!

All in all, I think insurance is a very good industry to get into because of the $$$! But the selling part is so damn difficult. My morale got so low when I got rejected on the phone already. Anyway, no outfits because first week of work is so tiring. I sleep at 11PM latest now when I am still awake at 3AM on schooldays!

I am going to play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon on my NDS now. Super fun! ;) Why do weekends pass by so quickly when 9 hours of work just pass so damn slowly. Urgh. I hope we will get to do more field work!

You're right. It does remind me of batwoman. I hate talking on the phone as well, especially to people I don't know.

don't give up girl! ask questions the person can't say yes or no to. those always get to me. i think they want to talk but then they start talking about what they want to sell and i get stuck :I
you can do it!
oh my how come you have to wake up so early?!

Ugh, I'm sorry you have to take such a beating with telemarketing - it must be so frustrating. I definitely hope it will all pay off for you though, and it's great that you'll improve your public speaking :)

surimay said...

agreed! the movement of these clothes are amazing. reminds me of super heros!

aaah i hope work starts getting for you. you shouldn't take all that rejection stuff to heart. although...it is a bit depressing. my job involves calling people up to do surveys, so i know how you must feel! but selling is a lot more difficult. i guess you just have to wait until you find an interested person!

Ziling said...

I love the sheer cloth that is attached to the outfit! The whole outfit is so futuristic and i like! Natasha Vojnoviv kinda scares me though.. her legs are sooo skinny!!! Heh, anyway 6 weeks will be gone very soon, really!! Telemarketing is definitely not my cup of tea though. I tried the job for a few weeks previously and i felt the same way as you too! Maybe even worse. I dread going to work sometimes haha.

I love how Gareth Pugh's clothes often takes an architectural shape! And aw, hope your telemarketing goes better as time goes on! <3 People can be SO rude, I used to field hundreds of calls a day at my old job, and even though people were calling ME they could still be so impatient and snappy!

now this is amazing, and after seeing this i love gareth a tad bit more than before...i love his design aesthetic because It really inspires me. He also makes me feel less guilty for always designing in dark colors like blacks and shades of gray because he does it repeatedly and never once comes off as a one trick pony...what a talent.

I should try telemarketing sometime. I always disregard them and say "Sorry, not interested" like you, and the idea of doing it and being ignored like that freaks me out! It would probably be a really great confidence booster like you said :)

I am not a fan either of Pugh but I think he made a wise choice using Natasha. I have worked with her about about 4 years ago on the HUGO BOSS Pure Purple campaign. And she is so down to earth and she has great energy and passion for what she does.
