Get The Look: Se-na of Rooftop Prince

I am currently at episode 6 of Rooftop Prince, I am so slow in catching up cause the show was going on when I was having my exams!! Even though Se-na is the so called " evil " girl in the show. I loved how she put together her clothes in the show! Especially in the first set where she wore a hot pink blazer with a white shirt beneath and a pair of nice baroque shorts. Very brilliant styling. She is consistently in well cut blazers and nice bottoms, just like how I would dress if I ever work in the corporate world.

Suecomma Bonnie Cruise Collection

I got to learn of this Korean Label Suecomma Bonnie at Blueprint 2012! Suecomma Bonnie was founded in 2003 by Korean designer Bohyun Lee. All shoes are handmade and made of quality materials from Europe. 

One of the top shoe labels in Korea, her designs are seen on many Korean stars and dramas in Korea. Bohyun Lee pays attention to detail and her shoes are priced between SGD$200 to SGD$300. It is not very pricey for a pair of designer heels but when Suecomma Bonnie becomes a huge label. I bet prices will rise up!

Mint

I finally got myself a mint top at H&M the other day while I was having exams! It actually has tiny tribal cut-outs that is not seen in the photos! Really cute. Flatforms are really godsend for people like me who cannot stand walking in heels but need that little bit of height. Here is my second pair of flatforms from Oasap!

Get The Look: Ashley Davenport of Revenge

Another of my favorite characters on TV right now, Ashley Davenport of Revenge! I love how she goes from casual chic in tank top and printed skirt to formal chic in the cute mini dresses. She always belts her dresses which makes the outfit more formal and always matches the mini dresses with pumps when she goes for work.

Ashley Davenport is played by Ashley Madewell who also, is the owner of a fantastic personal style blog at Ring My Bell. Do check it out! :)

Cat Eye

At Blueprint 2012, one of the brands that really caught my eye was this label from Thailand called Rotsaniyom. I fell in love with this beautiful floral print top when I first saw it and I knew I HAD to get it. I like how it is not the floral prints look really real! They also stock lots of beautiful scarves in prints that are to die for. Will blog about their latest collection " In God We Trust " as soon as I find good photos of the collection! :)

I also had the honour of hosting the buyers/owners of Pixie Market NYC at Blueprint 2012 and they were so kind to give me this pair of beige geometric cat eye shades from their store! I actually had my eye on it last month but was undecided whether to buy it. But it really fits me so well.

Label to Watch: Yuki Mitsuyasu Jewellery

Yuki Mitsuyasu Jewellery immediately caught my eye at the first day of Blueprint 2012. This necklace is part of her Shine collection which is characterised by two hearts that come together to complete the clasp (and pendant) as a star. How beautiful can this get? The pendants are joined together by magnents and it is available in sterling silver and 14k gold.

Floral

This is what I wore for the first Audi Fashion Festival show featuring Mugler! It was amazing seeing the clothes upclose but the whole show went so quickly I did not have time to snap photos fast enough :(

This is one of the many many dresses I have in my wardrobe. I have no idea why I only wore it once and did not wear it again. But I saw it this morning in my wardrobe and decided to wear it! I actually really like the prints.

Maybe it is time to dig out clothes that I hardly wear!

Get The Look: Jess in New Girl

New Girl is one of my favorite shows this season and Zoey Deschanel's character, Jessica Day's wardrobe is totally me! She is always in pretty tops and cute high-waisted skirts or in a cute dress with a nice cardigan. She is also almost always in flats, just like me, I cannot take more than an hour in high heels.

This is two of my favorite looks in the show, I totally need to get my hands on a cute polka dot skirt like hers!

Lady Gaga Fan Fashion in Japan

Lady Gaga is currently in Japan for her " Born This Way " tour and her Japanese Monsters went all out and were decked in some of Lady Gaga's craziest outfits as a tribute to her. Her signature bow hairdo, cigarette sunglasses, mickey mouse sunglasses are all seen in many of these outfits.

I really admire the Japanese for their spontaneity and I wonder if the Monsters in Singapore would be spontaneous enough to dress up like Lady Gaga for her concert!

Box Clutches are perfect for formal occasions. When attending formal occasions, all you really need is your cards, handphone and lipstick. No? I have always lusted after these beautiful Alexander Mcqueen box clutches. The skull clasp is just genius. But I do not have 1775 USD to get these babies :/

Sorry for the lack of updates, I just finished my exams! ;) I wore this houndstooth dress from Forever 21 when I was on a date with the boyfriend after the exams. I just really love the bow in the front of the dress..

And you guys will never guess that my boat shoes are by Crocs! :P They really do have some stylish shoes...

Met Ball 2012: Best Dressed

Jessica Alba in Michael Kors, this gold lame gown shows off her tan perfectly. Love her hair and the red lipstick.

Emma Stone in Lanvin, never expected her in sucha girly get up but Emma Stone is almost, always on the Best Dressed list for me. 

Lily Collins in Valentino, sweet and dreamy. What is there not to love about this look?

January Jones in Atelier Versace Spring 2012 Couture, I feel that her hair should be in an updo, but the peplum shows off her figure perfectly, a nice cocktail ring or some bangles would be nice. 

Bee Shaffer in Erdem. In Rachel Zoe's words, I Die. I always felt that if I ever get married, my wedding dress should be Ellie Saab. But no, it will be Erdem ( if I ever can afford) . How precious are those prints?!

Carey Mulligan in Prada, fierce fierce look. I cannot think of anyone rocking this dress better than her. 

Solange Knowles in Rachel Roy, another yellow gown. Once again, it shows off her skin color perfectly and she accessorized the look with an embellished clutch and bangles. 

Rihanna in Tom Ford. Need I say more?

Rooney Mara in Givenchy, the girl with the dragon tattoo can do no wrong.

Karlie Kloss in Jason Wu, the knee high slit, lace, pink drapes, she looks totally fierce in this look! Karlie channeled a Angelina Jolie left leg moment. And she did it better :P 

MBFWA: We Are Handsome

Yet another Australian label that caught my eye at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. As a label that is built on print, for this season, We Are Handsome showcased a collection with florals, landscape and animal prints. My personal favorite has to be the tiger and zebra print swim suits. 

A beauty trend I spotted in this show was two-toned lips. Will you be daring enough to sport this trend?

Brown Eyed Girls Ga-in for InStyle May 2012

Brown Eyed Girls Ga-in is in the latest issue of InStyle Magazine May 2012. I am not a fan of her curly hair but her eye make-up is so on point. I especially loved the stroke of orange neon eyeliner she has on. The styling is really perfect and my favorite would be the Prada bodysuit she is wearing in the second last picture. And, I would die to have such slim legs like hers :P
