Zouk Wardrobe 2011 - WanderWonder

I attended Zouk Wardrobe 2011 last Friday. WanderWonder particularly caught my eye because of the brilliant styling - all the guys were wearing moustaches. The show was started w a bang as the guys came out in cloaks which left us wondering what could be under the clothes. And they did not dissapoint.

The shirts were all well fitted and with little twists here and there like striped belts and scarves used as belts for the outfits underneath the shirts. Plus did I mention how awesome the shoes of WanderWonder were? If I were a boy, I'd buy all of them.

Amado Gudek Jewellery Giveaway

“Occult octopus”

Amado Gudek’s latest collection is inspired by the octopus – local jewellery designer Elaine Tan focused on the sinuous curves of the octopus arms (commonly mistaken as tentacles) and the suction cups on the arms. Some of the pieces are made in mysterious colours of gold, black, white, while some others are made in magical colours of ice, mandarin amber and sea amethyst. Her intention was to convey the tension between its dark nature to surreptitiously hide from predators, and its seemingly magical abilities of distinguishing the polarisation of light.

Amado Gudek also has a new diffusion line, AG by Amado Gudek, where pieces are cast in ready-made molds, such as the pair of nature rocks earrings you see below:

Outfit for Baskin Robbins Grand Opening at Velocity

Trenchcoat - Queenbels, Headband - Forever 21

This was my outfit for the launch of the 4000th store of Baskin Robbins. This is the black version of the Grey Trenchcoat I blogged about. This time, I decided to button it up to make it seem like a dress! :)

It was a night of sampling almost all the 31 flavours Baskin Robbins has and free ice cream, milkshakes. Plus the host was Singapore's favorite, Barberella who really kept us entertained all night.

This is one of my favorite events as I am a huge fan of Baskin Robbins and they are finally here :D

We are ULTRA

We are ULTRA is a group of designers and makers grounded in sustainability. Since July 2009, they have done multiple collaborations. The objective of We are ULTRA is to integrate sustainability into a comtemporary lifestyle.

We are ULTRA has a sustainable fashion line, in collaboration with MIFA designers Tengku Syahmi and Jonathan Liang. It is currently in it's second season and has showed at Paris, London, South Asian and Malaysian Fashion Weeks.

My favorite is the 4-in-1 dress, jacket, coat and skirt. Which is look number 10 in the collection. It is made of recycled jersey. It can be worn as a dress or unzipped as a coat. When it is unzipped at the waist, it also separates into two which is a jacket and a skirt. It can be mixed and matched with other items in your wardrobe.

This is a skirt I got from We Are Rubbish. I love the drapes and the assymetrical hemline. It was supposed to be pretty short as seen on the model but it is long for me. Life is hard for short people :(

This is another dress I got from Uniqlo Designers Project. When I saw the cat prints, I just couldn't resist! It's very Miu Miu.

Sheer Trench Coat

I have always admired people who were able to wear trenchcoats cause it is summer all year round in Singapore. But Queenbels sent me 2 sheer trenchcoats in grey and black respectively that is p e r f e c t for the Singapore weather! The pleating at the back makes it more chic and I adore it.

Anyway, I am looking to get more piercings so I have been looking around for nice body jewellery and I've found one at Fresh Trends. They are really chic and cheap so head over there if you need nice ones :)
